Wallets!

Yet more "the movers didn't pack up quick enough" shopping - two leather wallets.  They're beautiful quality and hold up really well.  We've bought from this guy at the feria before.

Raffi's

Yes, real Armenian food in Uruguay!  There's a fairly significant Armenian community in Montevideo, and there are restaurants dotted around the city.  One of  the best is Raffi's.  Here's a picture of some of what we ate during our last week in Uruguay.  Andreas had the cabbage rolls; I had the mixed shish.  They were good, if very mild.

Tiny Temari

This is the smallest temari I've ever made - it's less than two inches in diameter.  I used Wildflowers cotton on it, and think it came out pretty well.

Ready to Travel

Mattie looks surprisingly chipper on her last day in Montevideo.  She's made it here, but I think she wants to go back.  It's far, far too hot for her here.

Sushi and Parilla...

A picture taken solely for the amusement factor ... on San Jose in Montevideo.

Yet Another Temari

I taught this pattern too, and gave the results to Mary.  I think it came out pretty well.

Llamadas in String

The two portrait oriented ones are smaller; the landscape is bigger.  We saw these in the market on our last Saturday ... and the movers still hadn't packed us out... Besides, the price was only 700 pesos for the set.
