Cornered Again

The second corner's in place for part five now. It means the top is reached and other bits are getting filled in.

A Molovan Welcome

We went to an artisanal rug making workshop the first weekend we were here. The owner of the workshop gave us gifts. The big apple-like fruit is a quince, with a stem of dried bolted basil next to it. Also, the cloth was both made and embroidered at the workshop.

Stripes

The background is all stripy because I've been using the tattered parchment color called for. I think it looks rathr bricklike.

Fruit Tops

Leaves getting done and so are the tops of the fruits. It's odd stitching over two on such a large count, but it does look good.

Some Finished

Getting more and more flowers done. It seems this is coming along quickly. Yes, this picture is from when I still was in Washington, but I don't have any newer ones. Will, hopefully, soon.

Slanted View

Although this is from last month, it's posted from Moldova. I still don't have a regular internet connection at the house, but managed to do this through the phone connection on my laptop. I did get done with the right hand buildings and have started with the specialty stitching on that and the cross stitching on the bottom.
We are now in Chisinau with some of our stuff and all our pets. We''re beginning to settle down and hope to have everything squared away by the end of October.
