The one thing we had a hard time finding in our food excursions in the States was tempura. There were a lot of sushi restaurants, but no good tempura. We finally found some on our last weekend, in Laurel, MD at Osaka Japanese Restaurant. We did the whole hibachi thing for lunch while we were at it. Andreas had lobster hibachi, and he loved it. Mine was chicken and steak. The food and show were excellent.

Background Started
Yay, all the flowers are done and I've started the background - even if it is with ucky ribbon floss. This project is truly going quickly.

Hope
Another bit of Christmas rush - this ornament is being made specifically for an exchange. It's Hope by Mill Hill. I hope it doesn't take too long.

Olive Garden Again
We had Olive Garden again during our last week in the US, by Andreas' request. We had the cheese appetizer first; it was nothing special. I had the chicken parmesan, and Andreas had his usual ravioli. We didn't take pictures of the salad and soup. Food was good and plentiful, and the wait service was good.

Squared Up
Well, Jubilation is getting substantial. The majority of the pattern is laid out. Now it's time to fill it all in.
