More Leaf, More Fruit

Both got worked on some this week.  I am getting the feeling I usually get in the middle of projects - that I'm bogged down, slow, and making no progress whatsoever.

More LeMans

Not only does LeMans race for endurance - the most ground covered in a given amount of time, it also races different marques than other races.  The cars come from Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Jaguar, and others.  The cars look like European stock cars or like sleek race cars, low to the ground.  All of them have two seats so they can change out drivers.

Depressed

I am somewhat disappointed with myself because I didn't get to start the building yet.  It feels like I'm not making any real progress, even though I can see I am.

Plugging Along

I am about done with the banner and about to work on the bow and wheat ears.  It's getting there.  Once I finish with the Purple Garden, I'll be putting time in on this every day until it's done.  My goal is to finish it before the end of the year.

One Step Left

I'm all done with stitching this except for the backstitching on the edges.  One more Crazy January I'll be able to cross off.  Even though I've finished less than half of my starts from January this year, I'm still planning on doing the same next year.

On to the LeMans

Our reason for going to the Grand Prix wasn't the Indycar race - it was the American LeMans.  LeMans is an endurance race, and there are several classes of cars on the track at the same time.  The race was on the 3rd of September in the afternoon.
