I am participating in the Friendly Stitchers yahoo group ornament exchange this year, and made this for my partner. She saw temari on my blog, so I asked her if she wanted one instead of something cross stitched. She said yes, and this is the result. It's also my first ever renzoku pattern. I think it came out really well.

Back to the Pits
The Indycars shared their Convention Center basement with the Indy Lights racers. Here are some pictures of the Indy Lights pits getting ready on Saturday for the race early on Sunday.

The Pattern Emerges
This second band is a Florentine design that looks like wallpaper. It's also coming along fairly well. Maybe I can complete it soon.
Another Section Started
I've decided to do some cashmere stitch on th middle section of the cover. And I've started it. Now on to see how much more I can do.

Patriotic Keeper
I started to make some temari for Christmas and the Winter Bazaar, and I made this one. Andreas claimed it, though, so it's not going out of the house. It's a woven rose design, and even I think it came out pretty well.

Last of the LeMans
This is the last set of pictures from the actual running of the LeMans. I have to say that it was more interesting to watch from where we were than the Indycar race.

Building the Wall
I've got more progress on the lattice wall done. It's going fairly quickly when I work on it. Maybe I'll have this portion done before the end of the year.
