Thank You Both!
After not getting any mail for a while, we got a whole bunch of it last week. In the same shipment were these lovely exchange ornaments from Margaret G and Ing! Aren't they great? Thank you both so very much! Now to start hanging ornaments around the house.

Slog, Slog Slither...
I know I'm making progress on this, but it feels like I'm figuratively slogging through mud as I work on it. On the other hand, every stitch placed is one more stitch less to do!

One Tower
I've got a tower taking shape! It's so much more interesting to stitch a piece like this when you can work on different areas and not be doing the same thing over and over again.

Local Cross Stitch
Moldova has a local premium quality cross stitch designer. The company name is Luca-S, and I bought a kit a little while ago at Gemenii. I truly like the quality, although, since all her fabrics are Aida, I will be changing that out. She uses Anchor threads and Zweigart fabrics, and her shops stock linen and interlock canvas, too. One thing I'm really impressed with is the way she's got the thread already separated and labeled in the kits. I love that feature.
I will be starting this as part of my 2012 crazy January challenge.

Tinned
Not only did I finish stitching the little Grow! motif, I actually put it on the tin it goes on. Rarely do I finish something so quickly.

More Mysteriquos
While we were there, Andreas couldn't sit still and doesn't dance, so he used his camera to play with light. Here are more pics of the gig at Love and War in Texas in late August.
