Salsa Temari

This temari was another prize for a crazy quilting challenge.  The winner likes hot colors.  I hope these are warm enough for her.  Pattern is two three petal renzoku patterns interlocked with one another.   The thread is a shade of Watercolours and three shades of DMC pearl #5.

Top Robin

At least, the robin has a top now.  About a fourth of the way done with this project already!

The Tasting Cellar

Surrounded by bottles and bottles of wine, a tasting table and very nice service.  They had wine from other countries, too.  None, sadly, from Uruguay.  We ended up buying some bottles of rose, ice wine, and port before we left.

Big Red Splotches

Still not done with the background around the tail, but at least I hav a bunch of light red splotches under it now.  Faster stitching later, right?

More Sky

I feel like I'm still stuck in sky mode... it's got to end soon!

Aging the Wine

First in steel vats, then in American oak barrels made in France, the wine ages.

One Flower Done

I finished the top left flower and even started filling in the background a bit.
