From The Grocery Store

An example of what you can buy premade at the stores here.  This is from the Nr. 1 Hypermarket, which seems to be German-based.  The meats are pork ribs and rabbit leg.  The salad at the top is a mixed near-Greek salad.  On the bottom are two local specialties - mamaligia (polenta balls with cheese in the middle) and sarmele - tiny stuffed cabbage bits.  The food's pretty good, and like in the States, you just heat it up when you get home.

From Mrs. Santa

Beautiful stash from the Secret Santa exchange on Friendly Stitchers.  Needless to say, it got delayed in the mail, but it's here and lovely.  Thank you!

Crazy Start #28 - Butterfly Vignette

I'm not really happy that it's on Aida, but I didn't have a piece of linen of the right size.  Anyway, it's butterflies, so it'll look pretty.

Bit Of Finishing

I promised myself that this year, I'd actually get around to finishing some of the things I stitched.  So far, I've completed two ornaments.  Here's the second!

Handmades From Hungary

Well over a month after being sent, I received Maja's exchange from The Stitch Specialists.  It was well worth the wait!  I love the handstitched ornament and handkerchief, and the fibers and goodies are beautiful!  Thank you, Maja, and I'm sorry Turkish Air took so long to get it to me.

Crazy Start #27 - Reversi-Mitten

This will go pretty quickly.  It got added to my rotation a few days ago when it fell out of the "started stuff" cabinet, and this bit here is just one session of work on it.

One More Column

One more column of stitching done, including the left sills of the windows.
