Some Scrollwork
I added this into my rotation so I can get more crazy January starts done. Added some scrollwork to the band. It's not all that big, so it shouldn't take more than a few months to finish it.
Last Of The Christmas Temari
I made this temari for Davi and Jessica. It was supposed to be made closer to Christmas, but I couldn't get favorite colors from them. So... I listened and got green and purple from them early in February, then made this. The kikus are different on each pole, so it's not as symmetrical as it could be. On the other hand, I like the difference. They seem to like it too.

TAST Week 7 - Detached Chain Stitch
I decided to make a couple of motifs for this stitch. They look a bit like snowflakes or chrysanthemums to me.
Brown Blues
Still only brown, and I looked at the chart - the beginnings of the flower-to-be on the right is also brown and cream. Guess I'll slog on.

Off The Edge
One problem with relying on the edges for a change of pace is that there is a limited supply of edge. This means that I'm back to working on red again. It's a little more challenging with all the confetti stitching, but still red.

What We Brought Home
We bought a bunch of liquor at the Kvint company store. Everything here cost a total of approximately $100. The top six bottles are calvados, which is always hard to find. We opened one bottle; it's pretty good, especially for being aged only six years. The other types ar cognac, vermouth, and vodka. The two wine bottles are the merlot we were given as part of the tour. Two of the cognacs were gifts, too. Most of this is going back to the States with us as gifts.
