The day was definitely clouding over as we made our way back from the church to the monastery belltower and cave.

Hard To See
It's so much easier to see progress when it's vertical and skinny. When you're working horizontally on long lines, it's much harder to see. On the other hand, it's there. I'm sure of it.
Not Much Left
I've started the last part of The Mighty Oak! It's almost done, and this part is a lot less dense than all those leaves.

Top Of The Square
The top of the first of two square motifs to fill in this area is done. Yay! On top of that, I finally received my shipment from Fireside Stitchery, which means I won't be running out of thread, either. Double yay!
Inside The Church
Orthodox churches have no pews. It's one of the first things you notice. This does allow the space inside to feel bigger than it is. This church was recently repainted, probably within the past couple of years. The artwork, like in most Orthodox churches, is intricate and beautiful. Most people in Moldova are Orthodox, with minorities of Catholic and Jewish faiths. This does lead to some confusion, as when people refer to "Jewish Easter" here. It means the Catholic Easter and Jewish Passover weekend, because they're both a week before Orthodox Easter.

Tops Of Letters
Still filling in tiny spots to gt the rows done. I completed four rows that way this week. Definite progress is being made, but I wish I were done!
