Another bit of stitching done on this, showing how little I've gotten done on holiday. It's creeping along, and the bottom scrolls are almost done.

From The French Knot
Unsurprisingly, I went shopping while in the US. In Fort Worth, I found this lovely Texas heart at The French Knot and had to have it....

Something Neat
We went to the last weekend of Scarborough Faire while in Texas, and I came across this lady selling feather accessories. I fell in love with this one. It's got rare earth magnets to hold it onto things and also a leather pocket to slide a headband into.

One Big Butterfly
Last week, I showed you Candji's block in progress. The bottom picture is after my work; the top is before. The biggest thing I did was to cover over one of the large butterflies with embroidery. Other things include a caterpiller, some ladybug ribbon, and a couple of premade butterflies from Uruguay. I hope Candji likes the additions.

Gifted
Florine, a great friend and former temari student, gave me this temari when we went to see her a week ago. It's beautiful, and she's even better than me at making temari now. She's a natural. Thanks, Florine!
Another In Progress Photo
I'm done with the basics on this, but since it's for an exchange, I want to bling it out a bit. It looks a bit plain at the moment even though the pattern is spiffy.
