I've started part three now; the first band is drawn thread. The hemstitches are done. It's time to draw the threads out.

Why I Went...
Or, at least, the timing of why I went to the US last month. This is my son. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute on May 12th with degrees in aerospace engineering and professional technical writing. I'm so proud of him! The rest of the pictures give you an idea of the ceremony.

More Of My Garden
This is the rest of the pictures of my garden before we left for holiday. This is beautiful, but we came back and the petunias are bigger and the roses are covered in blooms. I'm trying to get Andreas to take pictures, but things haven't worked out for that yet.

Started The Mandala
I've made a lot of progress on this while on vacation. It's grown quite a bit, as it was one of the easier things to pick up while traveling.
From The Cabbage Rose
I am so very proud of myself! This is all the fabric I bought while on holiday. No more! It's something to be proud of. I also picked up some finger pads and a couple of shades of pretty perle cotton.

May In My Garden
These beautiful pictures were taken before we left on holiday. The flowers are all in my garden, and they're beautiful. The garden's even more in full bloom now.
