Exchange Case Done

On time, even, I finished the exchange piece!  It's been received already, and she likes it.  Not much else you can ask.  I was disappointed in the pattern because the resolution was not good enough to make it easily read, on either the computer screen or printed out.  I muddled through that and got it done, though!

Being the think ahead person I am, I picked up these cute ribbons while we were in the States.

On The Other Side...

I've started on the right side bottom motif now.  I feel I'm making real progress on this piece.

Fob From Betsy

Knowing I like bee motifs, Betsy made this beautiful needlepoint key fob for me.  Thank you, Betsy, it's adorable!

Down To Drawing Thread

I've started part three now; the first band is drawn thread.  The hemstitches are done.  It's time to draw the threads out.

Why I Went...

 Or, at least, the timing of why I went to the US last month.  This is my son.  He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute on May 12th with degrees in aerospace engineering and professional technical writing. I'm so proud of him!  The rest of the pictures give you an idea of the ceremony.
