To The Bottom

The bottom section is coming along well.  I've got the bones of it all done.  Now's the time to fill it all in.

Lavender Fields

 These first two pictures are of some beautiful wildflowers by the side of the road.  The rest are of a lavender field we stopped to take pictures of.  A lot of the countryside is lavender, alternating with corn and sunflowers.

One Set Done

One set of flowers done, one more  to do on this piece.

Sunflowers!

 Pictures of some of the sunflowers we saw in the Moldovan countryside.  Whole fields of them stood on both sides of the road.

Facing

At least now the peacock looks like it's facing the tree branch.  Things are coming along.

Idyllic Countryside

Pictures of Tipova by the Nistru.  Like most of the Moldovan countryside, it looks so tranquil and peaceful.  Hard to believe that the Nistru is a frozen conflict line.  It seems, at least for the last few months, that the relationship is getting better.
