Pie Pan!

Somehow this stoneware pie pan actually made it through the mail and pouch to us from Louisiana.  Andreas' parents bought it for us, and I love the look.  It makes good pies, too! Thank you!

Back Home Bits Of Seasons

On the day we got home from Odessa, we had dinner here in Chisinau at Seasons along with a nice crowd of embassy people.  Didn't get a lot of pictures, but check out the desserts!

New Start

Another teaching temari.  As you can see from the design, they're getting more advanced!  This is a C8 with extra markings, and I've only done one of the kikus so far....

Placemats!

Betsy made these beautiful placemats and napkins.  Whenever possible, I prefer the cloth to paper.  These are already getting used.  Thank you, Betsy!  They're lovely!

Archaeological Museum Part 3

What archaeological museum doesn't have an Egyptian room?  Not this one1  Local university professors dug in the Valley of Kings in the 1970's and came home with a whole room full of finds.

Dawn Of Spring Done

Another finish, and a somewhat big one.  It's Friendly Stitchers' Dawn of Spring, although I did leave out the part t the bottom that says "wrought by my hand".  I'm really into adding things like that to samplers.  I like the way there are some specialty stitches in it, but am still not fond of the birds near the top.  I have no idea what I'm going to do with it.

Still A House

Hard to spot the progress, but I promise it's there.
