Homemade Birthday Food

Not my birthday, but Megan's!  She had a big birthday party at the Marine House, and all of the food was homemade.  You can see the spread here - from meatballs to meat trays to caprese trays to mother-in-law's tongues (the eggplant cones).  It was all good, and we had a great time!

Working On The Middle

Just worked on the final middle motif this time.  I'm getting so close to this becoming a mindless background project.

Seasons With Friends

In September, we went to Seasons as a large group with friends.  It was good, as John showed with his thumbs up.  Seasons, though, is all about the desserts - which is why there are so many pictures of them!  They were all excellent in their ways.  I also love the bruschetta, pictured right below.  Four different kinds, and all good.

Soup And Salad

Soup and salad at Green Hills.  The soup is -definitely- better than the salad.  This was supposed to be a chef's salad, but I've never seen bologna as the meat for one before - nor mayonnaise as the dressing.  Lesson learned!

Three Squares, Almost

I am up to almost three squares done with this.  At least all the boring bits will be done first, and I will be able to get on to the fun stuff soon.

Diamond Bling Done

I finished up XOctagon 20!  Doesn't it look nice?  Too bad it wasn't one of my crazy Januarys....

Dinner At Pegas

On 9/11, we ate dinner at Pegas.  It was excellent, as usual.  Andreas had his usual chicken and risotto along with Greek salad, and I had the chicken in mushroom sauce.  That was a bit bland.  The zeama and baked camembert were as spectacular as ever.
