Not Much From Tollwood

Although we stayed for a couple of hours at Tollwood, and took these pictures of  the floating Christmas disco balls while leaving at dusk, we didn't take any other pictures.  It was definitely a place with a certain couple of demographics in mind - neither of which we fit.  The first was aging boomers trying to recapture their Summer of Love youth.  The second demographic was leftie college students with no sense.  This demographic was somewhat left out in the cold, as everything was expensive!  I have to say, though, that it was the only Christmas market we went to with multiple psychics and a Greenpeace booth.  Definitely not your usual Christmas fare.

Mock-Ing-Bird

I pulled this out to work on for my Christmas rotation, too.  It's small enough that I might even finish it before the end of the year.  It's Victoria Sampler's Texas Heart.

Temari For Carmen

The work for the Winter Bazaar was mainly done at Carmen's house, including storing all the stuff that was to be sold.  In thanks, I embroidered this temari for her.  It's a C10 stitched with interlocking stars using Wildflowers thread.

More Backgrounding

It's almost to the point that background is all that's left.

Mercedes Showroom

Wandering between the main market and the Medieval market, we found a Mercedes showroom!  They were nice enough to let people in to take pictures.

One Last Start

This is my last new start on the Christmas rotation.  It's the October Mini Mystery from Laura J Perin.   It's a bit of a stitchalong for CyberStitchers.  It shouldn't take me too long, right?

Last Square Done

I finally finished the last of these little Precious Gems from Stitch magazine.  I've been making them into ornaments.
