I've got almost the whole outline done on this first half.  The colors look really nice.

Getting A Round

This is part of my Christmas rotation.  It's Christmas Jewel from Mill HIll, so it's certain to be sparkly.  Lots of purple so far, and doesn't look like much except round.

Christmas Crackers Made

I made these Christmas crackers for an exchange on Crazy Quilting International.  They're stuffed with embroiidery goodies.  Mine in exchange haven't arrived here, but I'm not surprised.  We've gotten no mail since the 14th.

It seems the real meaning of the twelve days of Christmas is waiting the twelve extra days for your mail.... at least in the foreign service.

Creche In Old City Hall, Munich

Merry Christmas, everyone!  I hope you enjoy the pictures of the creche in the courtyard of Munich's Old City Hall.

A Bit More Snow

I've gotten a little bit more of the snowman done, and one of the candy canes.

Thank You Melissa!

Thank you, Melissa, for the beautiful floss and fabric!  This was definitely worth the wait and way generous.  Thank you so much!

Snowplows DO Exist!

If only Chisinau would take a tip from Germany - and plow the streets.  We've had nearly two feet of snow on our street for about two weeks - and yet, it's still unplowed.  Local people sometimes hire construction equipment owners to "plow" the street they live on, but this only takes the top layer off.  At least six inches of ice is what we drive on when we leave the house these days.  Treacherous!
