Found Magazines!

The newsstand in the basement of the Karstadt was huge, and it had a selection of magazines for stitchers - so I bought some!

Department Store Window

Not all of the department stores near the Christmas markets had windows this elaborate, but this one was my favorite.  It's just -cute-.  Most of the animals wiggled in some way, too.

My Ornament

I decided to get myself an ornament while we were in Munich.  This is the one I picked.  It just appealed to me, despite there being a lot of different ornaments all over.

Background Only

Only the background's left to do!  This means it's almost done.  Yay!

Breakfast At The Hotel

Evidently, the hotel we stayed at is the only Residence Inn in continental Europe.  As a Residence Inn, it, of course, included breakfast.  Here's what we selected on the first day.  It's a bit more varied than the usual Residence Inn in the US, and no waffles.

The food tasted good, but the server didn't come to our table even once in the four mornings we ate breakfast there.

It's Orange!

Well, I went a bit out of my comfort zone for the colors on this now.  It's definitely very orange.  Anyway, I'm well on the second of three parts now.  It looks good, I think.  This is Laura Perin's October Mini Mystery.

New Clock

A glass painter came to the embassy at the beginning of December.  Andreas found this clock for the kitchen.  It's beautiful and glass.  I'm not sure that's a good combination for an overcrowded kitchen, but we're going to give it a try.
