Breakfast At The Hotel
Evidently, the hotel we stayed at is the only Residence Inn in continental Europe. As a Residence Inn, it, of course, included breakfast. Here's what we selected on the first day. It's a bit more varied than the usual Residence Inn in the US, and no waffles.
The food tasted good, but the server didn't come to our table even once in the four mornings we ate breakfast there.

Yummy Thai Food!
The night we got in to Munich, we were tired after the bazaar and after having walked back and forth looking for the hotel in the snow - and cold. We asked the wonderful front desk clerk about where to get dinner, and he recommended this Thai place at the other end of the block. We were glad he did. It was wonderful! Andreas got a satay appetizer while I had soup. They even brought Andreas a small fire to allow him to singe his chicken more. My soup's chicken dumplings were a little bland, but the lemongrass infused broth made up for it with a good bite. Our rice came in a fancy tureen which barely fit on the table, and our main courses were huge. For Munich, the prices were reasonable. For Chisinau, they were expensive. The restaurant was packed the whole time we were there, with people waiting for one of the twenty or so tables. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood of the Ostbahnhof in Munich.
