Candy Cane Done

I finished Candy Cane Snow!  This was a kit from Trail Creek Farm, and came with the pillow insert and the case all made and ready to stitch.  I think it came out kind of cute.  It's another crazy January start finished, too!

New Year's Eve

We went to the Rogers' house for New Year's Eve and got to see a lot of fireworks!  Andreas was able to set up his tripod on their balcony, and we were able to see displays from both the neighborhood and downtown.

People set off fireworks in their yards and on the streets here for all kinds of reasons - from birthday parties to Christmas to New Year's.  This year's display was huge and awesome.

Bordering

Maybe soon I will be able to work on something besides the border of this.  It's pretty boring so far.

Flaked

It's an ornament now!

Home State Finish

I finished Victoria Sampler's Texas Heart, and it's obvious that the heart was not designed by a Texan.  On the other hand, it's done, it's Texas-themed, and it'll make a nice little ornament.  It's also another finish from my crazy January Challenge.

Made Into a Diamond

I took a couple of those hardanger squares and made them into an ornament.  Not Christmas colors, but I don't like traditional Christmas colors!

Christmas Breakfast

I still have some plums that I froze from this summer, so I made a plum clafouti for Christmas breakfast.  I think it came out really pretty, and it even tasted good!
