I don't normally send people to sites, but I figured there are some beaders who read my blog, and I've been fascinated by all the spiffy beading projects I've been seeing at biserok.org. It's a Russian language site that has a LOT of beading going on. Check it out if you're interested. And remember, google translate is your friend.
Here's the cracker I received from Sarma, full of goodies. Thank you Sarma!
I decided to try a staggered kiku. Here it is with most of the top half done.
I finished Renoir from Kick Back and Stitch into an ornament. Andreas insisted I keep it, so this one stays at home.
Lorrie spoiled me with the cracker exchange. There were a bunch of little packages, as they all wouldn't fit in the cracker. Top is the packages, chocolate included, and bottom is the packages exploded view. Thank you Lorrie!
All the character is done, meaning that all that's left is background and border. Yay! Maybe I can get it done soon. I have no idea what that character at the bottom says. I -think- it's supposed to say courage, but who knows?

I finally finished Laura Perin's October Mini Mystery. The colors are -so- out of my comfort range, but I think it came out well. Andreas wants to keep it, and it doesn't even have a smidge of green, so that's success too.
