Greeking It Again

The McCues wanted Greek food a couple of weeks ago, so we took them to El Greco.  We don't mind going there often.  I tried a different soup - the ciorba.  It had a fried egg cut up and put into it plus more noodles than zeama.  The usual gyro and Greek salad for Andreas, and I had the kiftedakanas (spelling's bad, I know).  The little beef and lamb patties tasted really good.  We weren't able to stay very long, as the McCue children were getting a bit restless.  Luckily for the rest of the diners, we were in the back room and  they didn't disturb many other people.

Getting Centered

Because of the way the chart is, it's really hard to go directly across the top like I usually do.  I'm starting to go around that now by getting counts in the center and will be working my way back up and leftward soon.  Once I'm done with this, I'll be able to work the chart top to bottom in the manner I like to.

Starting To Fill In

Lots of interstitial space to fill in, but I've started!  Feels good to be done with the borders.

Spring Colors

The ladies wanted to learn making a mesh net, so I showed them.  I decided to make mine look really springlike.  Now to finish it.

A New Vase

Handmade cutwork pottery that  I bought at the embassy when the artisan came by to sell his stuff.  I like the graceful flow of the leaves.

B'd

The B's one!  One of five letters.  Four more to go.

Going Down Again

Most of the bamboo stick is done, so I can start working downwards again.  About time!
