Thank You For The Chocolates!

Last week was a good week for the chocolate lovers in me and my husband.  Sasha brought us back Lindt from his training in Germany and Olga brought us back the Empire State chocolates.  Thank you to them both!  The Lindts were eaten (mostly by Andreas) while I've been saving the others because the wrappers are so pretty.

Finally Finished

I had been waiting for the thread to finish this.  It came a couple of weeks ago, so last week, I spent the fifteen minutes to finish the last border.  Now to figure out what to do with it.

New Sampler

I have finally started Angie's Dreams Sampler.  Needless to say, I've changed up the colors quite a bit.  This is the bottom left corner.  I -really- wish she'd start on the top left sometimes.

Night Of Art Buy

Every year, the international women's club here holds a night of art.  I picked up two things there.  One was this bracelet made by one of the members.

Back To Buffalo Again

 We had a large group at Buffalo last week, about fifteen people.  Since we didn't know the time we were arriving, we hadn't made reservations.  The wait staff panicked but got over it.  We had a very good time and some very good food, even if it was slowly served.  I started out with a mojito.  They had it down perfectly that night.  I also had zeama and a steak.  The steak was done to order and huge.  It could have done with some seasoning.  I ate half of it and gave the rest to someone else.  Andreas had a Greek salad and a bacon cheeseburger.  He ate it all, so it must have been good.  His drink of choice was iced tea.
