All Green

I used three shades of green this session: some for the shutters, some for the tree.  Definitely am getting closer to the edge of the page on the chart, but still.  It's slow going.

Squaring Up

Putting the background on the diamond now.

More Sheepy-Baas

I think I have pieces of every sheep on the cloth now.  Maybe I'll be able to get it going more soon.

New Art

The annual Night of Art was April 5th, and we bought this tapestry there.  I'm normally not a fan of yellow and gray, but this piece reminded me of a peacock feather.  I still like it, and it was under $50.  Now to hang it up in the house.

As Far As I'm Going For Now

I managed to get to stitch 38 or 39 before getting to the end of the fabric on my TAST sampler.  It's been a learning experience, including that I really need to baste edge lines before I start.  I've learned some new stitches and played with others.  I have no idea what I'm going to do with the finished product.

Temari Gone Bright

Ana and I started a rose garden temari during our regular session.  This is as far as we got.  I, again, went out of my comfort zone with the colors.  I've never worked with a chartreuse ball before, but I like the way it's turning out.

Thank You For The Chocolates!

Last week was a good week for the chocolate lovers in me and my husband.  Sasha brought us back Lindt from his training in Germany and Olga brought us back the Empire State chocolates.  Thank you to them both!  The Lindts were eaten (mostly by Andreas) while I've been saving the others because the wrappers are so pretty.
