Creeping Up The Side

I've not been able to stitch as much as I've wanted to lately, and it shows in the small progress I've made on my Dreams Sampler.

Flaking

More white and blue added.  I'm getting closer to the middle.

Columbine And Sage

Our columbine has been seeding itself all through the garden.  We now have several plants in unusual places.  The dianthus is spreading, and the roses are going crazy, as usual.  It's been wet enough this year that the sage has been blooming, too.  Andreas says it's the first time he's seen sage bloom.

Blue Corners

All the corners are blue now, and I've got the buildings done on the last side.  It's all green scallops and wall for this last corner.

More Squares

All those little squares waiting to be filled in.

Looking More Complex

I've managed to get more done with the side.  The second building is looking a bit more filled in, but there's still a lot to go.  The bottom side now has a few houses completely backstitched.

Hincesti - Government And Church

The municipal buildings of Hincesti (pronounced HIN-chest, by the way) are a ways away from the commercial center.  We saw them on the way out of town and took pictures.  The House of Culture had a marching band practicing inside and these beautiful murals on front.  The church is too small, evidently, as they are building a new one a block away.  The well is in front of the school.  Many wells have this beautiful punched tin work around them here.  They're also used on a regular basis.
