Christmas In July

I received these two beautiful little Christmas ornaments in exchange.  Jessica made them and she did a great job!  Now I need to wait until November to hang them around my central arch.  Thank you Jessica!

Mont Saint Michel Buys

Yes, we went all the way up to the top of Mont Saint Michel.  The climb wasn't as bad as I remembered, especially since we went early in the morning when there were fewer people.  There was a strike, too, so we didn't have to pay any admission except for parking.  It was a somewhat cloudy day, which also helped make it more pleasant.  While there .... I have a new book for recording my daily stitching once the one I'm using fills up.  Andreas has a new 3D puzzle of Mont Saint Michel, as will Sean when I send it to him, and I bought some cute abalone shell pendants.  Surprisingly inexpensive, too.

Corner Motif In Place

The corner motif's in place and it's time to start across.  I think this is going a little more quickly than the first two parts.

Shutters And Leaves

I worked all in green this session.  Green shutters and green leaves got progress.  Slow going still, though.  On  the other hand, I'm within twenty columns of the end of the page and the end of this house!

Wearable Bobbin Lace!

At the Bayeux medieval festival we bought a lot of stuff.  What can I say?  It was interesting and unique.  This piece I'm especially proud to own.  It's a bobbin lace collar necklace and it's gorgeous and handmade.  It was also very inexpensive for what it is.  I love it!

Halved

I am now officially at the halfway point of my snowflake.  It's all progress from here.

Practice Start

Just fooling around a bit with an all over design.  Got three of the eight triangles done so far.
