Notre Dame, Rive Gauche, And Chocolate
From across the river, we could see that the line to get into the cathedral was long. i'd been in there before, and I find it way too dark and not as pretty as some other cathedrals. So we skipped it and explored the left bank looking for dinner. The fountain of St. Michael was interesting, as was the car hop outside the "diner". The chocolate sculptures were fascinating, though.

Not Quite Thai
Vila Tulip bills itself as a Thai restaurant. I suppose it is if you're Moldovan and never left the country. The spring rolls were good, and the soup was not too spicy. The duck in orange sauce was wonderful. On the other hand... since when does chicken satay come with pesto sauce? This one was completely baffling to us. The three of us also had desserts that we shared. They were middle of the road. We'll go back to Tulip, but it won't be because we want real Thai food.
Dinner With A Game
We actually had dinner at Little Texas both nights we were in Iasi. It was all about relaxing. The table was big enough to play a game without disturbing our meal, too. We played the cards only edition of Railways of the World a few times that weekend. We didn't test the Mexican thing, but went for more regular menu items. When not trying to be something they're not, they're much more likely to get the food right!
