Filling In The Sheep

Somehow that phrase has the exact intonation in my mind as "Bringing In The Sheaves".  Anyway, the sheep are coming along, if slowly.  They look like they have personalities now.

Pere Magelore On The Outside

This is what the grounds of Pere Magelore look like on a sunny summer day.  They're very pretty in that country French way.

Ayrodee Again

Since Ayrodee was so wonderful the first time and we can't get Thai food here in Moldova, we went to Ayrodee a second time during our week in Frankfurt.  We even considered going back a third.  This time, Andreas went straight to the satay appetizer, which he finished off.  I had a tom ka soup as a starter and wee both had chicken main courses.  Mine was with cashews.  Andreas' was fried rice.  It was all wonderful and waaaay too much food.  It was also relatively inexpensive for a German restaurant, as both time our tab totaled less than thirty euro!

Swirling Along

I fixed a small counting mistake and made more progress.  Still looks rather amorphous.

Little Bits Of Vine

I'm adding in all the little bits now.  All the cross stitch is done.  I smell another finish soon.

Ancient French

Well, not so ancient as the French go.  This is the museum at Pere Magelore, a calvados distillery.  It had a lot of nineteenth century tools in it.  The tools were from several walks of life, and then the second room concentrated on the calvados-making process.  I love old tools.

Nice Knife

Andreas found this beautiful handmade knife in Krakow last month.  He just had to add to his collection.
