Frankfurt Palmgarten To The Greenhouses

 These outside photos show how beautiful the late September day we went to the Palmgarten was.  we entered the greenhouse building, which has several different biomes in it, from tropical to desert.  These photos were from the tropical part.  Very pretty area.

I finished Every Heart earlier this year and finally made it into a real pillow ornament.

A Pile Of Afghan

This afghan is a Christmas present for a little girl who I know doesn't read my blog.  It's got eighty granny squares, and I hope it keeps her warm.

Calvados In Bottles And Barrels

 Bottles, including a show of different colors for different amounts of aging, and a bunch of barrels full of the good stuff.

Palm's Done

Absolute progress!  The palm tree is done, so all that's left is pot and borders. 

Calvados Making equipment

 Some of  the equipment is out of date, of course, but the rest is still used.  The storage barrels are all full of wonderful-smelling apple brandy.

My Own Photos

 While we were in Frankfurt, we decided to replace the point and shoot.  Instead of making it Andreas' backup camera, though, we decided I would carry it.  We went to the the Palmgarten, the Frankfurt botanic garden, and I took a lot of photos.  These are the first of them.  The place is beautiful.
