Stashy Napkins

I found these napkins in Krakow while we were there in early October.  They will be great for decoupaging things over the winter.  I love how cheerful they are.

Another Project Done

I seem to be on a finishing up roll lately - finally.  This is Intermezzo Sampler from Periwinkle Promises.  I skipped the last band because it's the initials one and I don't know that I'm going to keep it.  The piece was fairly easy and quick to do.

Downtown Frankfurt

Playing with the new camera again, I took some photos downtown.  This tower is above a giant two story market.  The other building is the Hauptwache; it's used as a gathering place and tourist information spot these days.

Forgiving

This pattern came in a grab bag from Traditional Stitches last month.  We saw it and agreed that it needed to be made.  The saying on it is "Forgive Quickly Kiss Slowly".  It called for red, but neither of us liked the color, so I found a couple of skeins from Jodyri Designs and am using it.  I hope to get it done fairly quickly, possibly while we're on home leave.

Chinese In Romania

The new, big mall in Iasi has three Chinese restaurants.  We were there over Labor Day weekend.  This was our last meal in Iasi before heading home.  It was good!  It was great to be able to have the food and the portions were huge.  Each of these trays cost about seven dollars.  Great way to finish off a short trip.

Frankfurt subway

We just barely were able to take photos of these subway cars with their graffitti as they were pulling away.  I believe they are done with permission of the city.

Tiny, Near Invisible Stitches

the flowers are now correctly done and I've made the wings of the bees.  The wings are hard to see because they're white and stitched over one.
