I Miss My Puppy

A few days before we left for home leave I made some banana bread.  Mattie, as usual, had to lick the bowl.  She took it from the kitchen and brought it to her rug to lick dry.  You can see she had a lot of fun with it.  As a reference for size, the bowl is a full sized Kitchen Aid mixing bowl and the rug is four feet long.  She's my baby and I miss her.  A bit more than two weeks until I see her again.

Finally Sixed!

Hurrah!  I've finally finished all the cross stitches for part six!  This is a major accomplishment for me!  On to something different on this.  Can't wait.

Last Of The Butterflies

I didn't do any regular photos at the butterfly house at the Hofburg.  All were close ups because of the condition of the place.  These are my last few butterflies for a while.

Pass The Hat

 As usual for the Marine Ball, Andreas dressed Texan.  And, as usual, his hat got passed around.  Here are some of the people who wore his hat.  They're all dear friends of ours, and I think they look great in it.

I am finally feeling close to finishing this!  I have four sheep left to finish.

Third Of Three

Yay, my third of three finishes in a week is done!  it doesn't look like much, but I think I'll make it into a Halloween ornament.

More Butterflies

 Butterflies, but only the same three or four varieties.  A lot of them have tattered wings, too.
