Italian In Vienna

We were cold and had a little time to use up while by St. Stephen's Square in Vienna one late afternoon, so we ducked in to a little place just off the square.  It was Trattoria Santo Stefano, and we had a very pretty antipasto plate and a cappucino.  I thought they presented the sugar well, too.  It would have been a great place for dinner if we were there at the proper time.  Instead, we had a nice snack and got warm in pretty surroundings.

Petit Point Earrings

There were so many very beautiful (but expensive!) things in the petit point shop in the Hofburg that I couldn't leave without buying something.  I bought these modern earrings.  I think I'll get a lot of use from them!

Back To Dreaming

I'm finally restarting on this.  It was delayed due to running out of one color and then the Christmas rotation.  Now it's back in place.

2013 Accomplishments

I guess I did all right this year.  I finished ten of my Crazy January starts. I managed to get down to two left from 2011, and both of those are in my current rotation being worked on.  I also completed sixty projects and finished some of them into gifts, ornaments, and items to show.  That last I need to work on more in the coming year.  I will be doing the Crazy January thing again this year, with all new pieces.

I also traveled a lot this year - to the Ukraine, to France, to Germany, to Romania, to Poland, and to the US.  Maybe next year I'll travel less and get more stitching done.

Another Vienna Christmas market find.  I think I'll wear this with my black dress for the Chinese opera on Thursday.
