Kathy's Block Done

As I knew I'd be traveling, I had Chris send me this block in the US instead of in Moldova.  That way, I was able to work on it and send it on its way much more quickly.  It was a kind of problematic block for the theme country garden.  It's definitely more country than garden.  To that end, I added a scarecrow.  To balance out the colors and weight of the top, I added ribbons to one of the very patterned blocks.

Thank You Diana

Crazy Quilting International yahoo group had an exchange for Christmas.  This is what I got from Diana, my partner.  Thank you, Diana!  I'll be putting it to work soon.

Over Halfway

The tree is the middle, so I'm officially over halfway done with the embroidery!

Street Sign

Found this street sign in Krakow.  I -think- it's supposed to mean that the street ahead is not a pedestrian street.  It could also mean it's a no child street, a no conception street, or something else entirely.

Up To Four

Two more bands done.  Slowly but surely, it's getting done.

Surprise Box

Earlier, I showed you the goldwork box I bought from Jen Goodwin.  This is the surfce embroidery one I got.  It has a bunch of neat stuff I want to get to using!

Sorry For The Hiatus

I apologize for the hiatus in posts.  I have been in airports until about eighteen hours ago and have been unable to post!  I didn't think it'd take me so long to get home.  Still waiting for my luggage, which has a -lot- of my stitching in it.
