Lots Of Opalescence

 This group of rocks contain a lot of opalescence.  It shows up surprisingly well in the photos.  You can also see some examples of the larger signage which gives chemical formulae and names of minerals.

I started a new Chatelaine, probably foolishly, as part of the Crazy January Challenge.

On The Bottom

It's hard to see this week's progress, as it's mixed in with the green leaves, but you can see some of it at the bottom with the pink splashes.

Another Backpack

I bought this backpack in Gatlinburg during our visit. It's completely quilted, cute, and roomy.  Now I need to fill it.

Organic Forms

 Despite these rocks being inorganic, it's surprising how many of them look like living landscapes, lichen, and other organic forms.  I think that's part of what drew me to them.

Crazy January Start Twenty-Eight - Fleur De Fleurs

I think this combination of thread and fabric looks pretty good.  It goes in the pile to get to soon.

Starting The Second Half

Scattered pink flowers now and a foray into the lower half of the design.  I think that's progress.
