Pretty Big Gems

 A lot of these stones are semi-precious or even what jewelers consider junk, yet look how beautiful they are when all polished up.  I wouldn't mind wearing them at all.

Animals Ruler

The full kit from Catherine Jordan came with both the ruler and the fabric.  Unfortunately, I found out while putting things together that the fabric was too low a count.  This means I stitched about an inch and a half extra ... and had to fold it over in back.  Came out pretty well anyway.

Another Afghan

Three baby boys are being born to embassy personnel this spring. This is the first of three afghans I'm making for them.

Great Breakfast

 Ol'South is probably about the best breakfast place in the world.  When I'm away from Fort Worth, I miss it soooo much!

Oooh Pretty!

 Gems with the rocks they come from.  How cool is that?  At least it's cool to me!

Feathering

The peacock wing's coming along with little feather bits.  I've also been doing some in the branch background, too.

Getting toward the bottom now- lots of grass to put in, though.
