For Charity

I discovered how hard it is to keep a block from going out of control with color with this block.  Since the Moldovan flag is the three primary colors, I had to use them as the base fabric.  From there, I added things significant to Moldova while trying not to overwhelm things.  The block was done for a charity quilt for Crazy Quilting International.

Inside To Out

Once you get inside the fortress, it's a mess.  The poor thing could use some care.  On the other hand, you can see glimpses of the magnificent views from the hilltop.

Tiramisu Framed

It's been a while since I finished the group correspondence course Tiramisu.  We took it to MolDeco, and they did their usual wonderful job of framing.  I'm pleased.

All Squared Up

I am done with squaring the mandala up!  It's time to fill in the corners and start in on the beading.

Rasov Is Big

So it turns out that the first fort on this site was Roman.  It also turns out that, once you go through the barbican, there's still a bit of climbing to do.  The place is very large and could hold many people and livestock when under siege.  The day we went it was hot and there wasn't any shade.

New Kit

My husband bought this kit for me at my request.  I am trying to put it into the rotation, which means I need to get stitching so I can add it!  It looks lovely to do.

Making A Body

My sheep is getting his body.  In fact, he's almost got the whole thing!
