A Couple Of Grapes

I've got a couple of grapes done.  Working on the rest of the bunch.

Knight For A Day

You can become a knight for a day by renting a costume at Rasov.  They'll even take your photo.  The tractor at the bottom pulls wagons up and down the hill so you don't have quite so much to climb.

Orange And Gray

All I get to play with at the moment is orange and gray.  I used both this past turn, getting the foundation more solid and adding to the tower.

Wandering On The Wing

More wing is done on the peacock along with more of his purple breast.

Looking Out

Some views from Rasov fortress.  The closer town in the photos is Rasov.  The farther is Brasov.

Gifted

Florine and her family came to visit us last week.  It was a great time and we miss them already.  She also gifted me this beautiful rose garden temari in the shiny kyo threads.  It's gorgeous, and I will treasure it always.

For Charity

I discovered how hard it is to keep a block from going out of control with color with this block.  Since the Moldovan flag is the three primary colors, I had to use them as the base fabric.  From there, I added things significant to Moldova while trying not to overwhelm things.  The block was done for a charity quilt for Crazy Quilting International.
