I am so very close to finishing off this first corner.  It feels so good to get this almost done.

Sheepish

My band sampler is certainly feeling sheepish now with the critter almost completed.

Cow In The Road

 In the same village as the small WWI graveyard a cow wanders down the highway on its way home.  This just shows how out in the middle of no where we were.

Rich Living in the Fin De Siecle

 Things that interested me in the lower story of Peles Manor House are depicted here.  Some children's art was displayed; it was the result of a contest throughout Romania.

Working Down

I have started working on other than the initial top border now.  Looks like progress to me.

Dead End Cemetery

The view of the Carpathians is beautiful, truly.  Was it worth, though, the six hour detour we accidentally took to see it?  Probably not, since we still had to drive through them.  We did, however, find a lovely small WWI cemetery at the dead end of the road - Sovaja.  The cemetery is off on the side of  the road and a little sad.  It was also closed, so we were not able to walk in it.
