Starry Temari

I based this temari on one by Barb Suess.  The pattern isn't too hard, but it does have disparate elements.

Periodic Vodka

I thought this was neat, and it was cheap, so I bought it.  Who, except the Russians, would name their vodka after the father of the periodic table?  I haven't tasted it yet, though.

Crazy January Start #26: Floral Scissorskeep

I love the materials and packaging in this kit, but the directions are awful!  They're very generic and evidently are the same, with the exception of a diagram for all her kits.  Darn, I would have bought more if this wasn't the case.  I'll muddle through this one only because I have experience in muddling through.

Pigging Out

After a trip to MolDeco, we went to The Flying Pig.  Every time we go there, it's practically empty.  I believe its main crowd comes at lunch and later in the evening.  They changed their menu!  It's much more inviting now.  With Jeanette, we had a meat plate, some onion rings (obviously frozen), salad, and main courses.  Everything else was fresh, and I do like their goulash, though it could use more meat.  Nice to see them getting more into the 21st century.

Half The Buildings

I am about halfway done with this side set of buildings.  I -think- it's Siena.  Anyway, it's getting closer!

Gift From Tiraspol

Dawn, my boss, had to go to Tiraspol on business.  It's pretty rare for us to go there because we have to get permission from Transnistria's "government."  While there, she visited Tirotex, an outlet for a textile manufacturer, and picked up some tablecloths.  She gave this one  to me!  Tirotex makes tablecloths for both Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn.  I like this one.  It's lively.  Thanks, Dawn!

Crazy January #25: Hold Hope

Nice start on a small piece.
