All Spined Up

I have finally finished another of the cowboy belt buckle series from Chaparral Needlepoint.   My problem with all of them is that the stitch guide is pathetic.  There's no overall scheme showing you which part is what they're talking about, and there's count for the stitch diagrams.  Since these instructions were made in 2007, there's no excuse for this.  It's well after the advent of easy software remedies.  I ended up with completely different stitches and colors in large portions of this because of the failures of the stitch guide.

Adding To The Scaffolding

I am almost to the middle of the middle area, and the bars are getting bigger.

I am now almost to the halfway point on the right side.  I can hope to get it done soon!
