Most Beautiful Scarf

This wondrous hand painted scarf was given me by my friend Ana.  She commissioned it from her cousin, who is a master artist in northern Moldova.  The pattern is adapted from old tiles.  I absolutely love it.  The colors are vibrant and the silk glides through my fingers and it's just gorgeous.  Thank you so very much, Ana!

Getting The Rules Down

On To Gagauzia

With the coming of warmer weather, we decided to do Friday dinner at Gok Oguz last April.  As you can see, the presentation was great and the food was as wonderful as ever.

BeSurfed

Surf and Sand is done.  That's another off the Crazy January list.  I hope to do some catching up in the next year, as our social life isn't going to be as hectic - it's just too expensive in Luanda.

Ribbons!

Andreas bought these ribbons for me from Renaissance Ribbons.  I'm taking them with me in my luggage so I can play with them on home leave.

Iasi-ful Chinese

Our last trip to Iasi was in April.   We had Chinese, of course!  Mine's the one with the soup.
