October Done Early

I finished this piece while I was on the plane to Angola.  As the trip was thirteen and a half hours long, I had plenty of time to work on it.  This makes ten of the twelve done.  Yay!

Greek And Wine

Because of the small house we rented and the allergies of Andreas' parents, we couldn't host them at home to let them enjoy Moldovan wines.  Luckily, we found Cafe Medi in Hurst, which let us bring our own wines - and opened them for us.  Between the five us (my mom was there too), we had most of three bottles of wine.  The food was good too, but not as good as El Greco in Chisinau.  My favorite of the three wines was the Vinohora.  I love that wine.  But it's all in transit now in our household effects.

A Normal Start

Since I finished something, I get to start something.  This is the beginning of a Lizzie Kate design that says "Normal is just a setting on the washing machine."  Somehow, I think I'll need that here.

Back To The Railhead

We had to get out barbecue while we could, so we visited the Railehead again.  It was just what we needed after the quilt show.  I am SO missing barbecue right now.  I don't have my spices and there aren't the right ones here in Angola.

Little Bits

Bits more done.  I have the rest of one more green motif and then one and a half of the red ones.  Then finally I will be done with the top!

Trinity Valley Quilt Show Part Eight

This is the last of the quilts from the show.  I like the applique and the abstract in red, blue and black best.

Truly Sheepish

My sheepie baa is done!  One more finish for the year, and another to cross off my crazy January list.  I'm making up for the dearth of finishes over the summer when I was working so hard on Tuscany Town Mandala.
