Andreas was unhappy with his first visit to Genghis Grill, so we went again. We tried the potstickers - pretty bland - and I decided to do tortillas instead of rice or noodles. It was an inspired choice. I made my grill into a wrap and enjoyed it. Andreas was happier with his choices too.
I bought some more things than fabric from Cabbage Rose. One pattern that I have to wait to make until my regular stash gets here, some cosmos floss, and some templates. Maybe I can use the last two soon.
As of today, this is my new daily project. I've got more than half the tubes done, and the shape is coming together. Still have to fill in and do the blackwork between, but it's going to get there.
I bought this Ink Circles pattern, Turtles All The Way Down, at In Stitches in Alexandria, Virginia, while we were there. Since I had finished something else, I decided to start it. I'm using one strand of thread on 40 count linen.
I bought these fabrics at Cabbage Rose and at a shop going out of business in Arlington. As of two days ago, I have a rotary cutter, a sewing machine, some thread, and the fabric. Time to quilt!
