Mi Dia Dining

Evidently Mi Dia is a chain that I've never heard of.  It's got several locations around Dallas.  There aren't any near Fort Worth, significantly.  We went with Andreas' mother and cousin because it was close for all of them to meet.  The food was okay.  It wasn't great, it wasn't really Mexican of any one region, and it wasn't TexMex.  The waiter tried to tell me you don't eat queso fundido with tortillas because it's too hot.  I don't know how else you're supposed to eat it.... Andreas and I split combination fajitas.  His mother had duck.  I would definitely go somewhere like Esperanza's over here, even though the decor is better at Mi DIa.

Dalek And Death Star Ice

Andreas' parents gave us these as part of our anniversary gifts.  We have yet to use them because we're short on glasses and pretty much everything else while we wait for our HHE.

Getting More Edgy

I am working on more edges to fill in.  For some reason, it looks a lot more developed with the edges in.

Back To Mongolian

Andreas was unhappy with his first visit to Genghis Grill, so we went again.  We tried the potstickers - pretty bland - and I decided to do tortillas instead of rice or noodles.  It was an inspired choice.  I made my grill into a wrap and enjoyed it.  Andreas was happier with his choices too.

Accessories from Cabbage Rose

I bought some more things than fabric from Cabbage Rose.  One pattern that I have to wait to make until my regular stash gets here, some cosmos floss, and some templates.  Maybe I can use the last two soon.

Breakfast at Esperanza's

Who wouldn't want nachos for breakfast?  I already miss Esperanza's.  Andreas had an omelette and I had arroz con leche and a breakfast taco.

Banding Up

I completed all the bungarian stitch on the big middle band.  There's a little bit more stitching to do then beading and it's done.  Go me!
