Ruth's Cris Dinner

This was our last dinner in Fort Worth.  Mom took us to Ruth's Cris, where she had some gift certificates.  I had a berry martini type drink that was very good.  Andreas had a limeade thing that he liked.  We shared our side dishes, and Mom got salmon while Andreas and I had steak.  The service was excellent and the decor very nice.  The food, while good, wasn't really up to the price.  It still was a good way to spend an evening with Mom before leaving Texas.

Neat Idea

What to do with leftover k-cups?  Make jewelry!  These are very pretty, very lightweight, and unique.  The artist does brooches, earrings, and magnificent necklaces.

Time For Tea

Andreas' parents gave me this small set for my birthday.  I have started having a mug of tea most mornings here as I wake up and get the day started.  Thank you!

Old Country FInish

This is either the fourth or fifth of the dodecagon ornaments I've finished stitching.  I like this one for the colors, even though I'm not normally a fan of brick.

Bayeux Beginning

Another ending, another beginning.  This time I've chosen couple d'oiseaux from Bayeux Broderie.  It will definitely be something different.

Fort Worth Downtown

Little bits of Fort Worth downtown at night.

New Stash

We stopped in at In Stitches in Alexandria when we bought these bits of stash.  I've already started the turtles.  I know who the Cinderella one is for.
