Bluebonnets For The Table

Andreas' mother made us these beautiful bluebonnet table toppers for Christmas.  We'll be using them once our only table is cleaned off from being our living space.  Still waiting for our desks to get here with the rest of our stuff.  Thank you Betsy!

Unfinished Object To Finished Object

I started this at least seven years ago and abandoned it while in Moldova for some reason.  When I packed out my stitching for the transition from Moldova to Angola, I decided to take this with me to finish.  I did it!  It's done, and I think it came out pretty well.  It was my first finish of 2016.  Now I really wish my stash would get here.  Supposedly it's at the port but we won't get anything for another couple of weeks.

Star Wars Miniature

Andreas plays X-Wing when he can, so his parents got him a few more miniatures for it.

Crazy January Start #1 - Chinese Mandala

It's the middle of the mandala and it's going to need a lot of work, but after finishing two others last year, I think I can do it.

Wondering About Trees

After this bit of stitching I've decided to focus on individual trees from left to right.  We'll see how that goes.  On a bright note, I stitched a couple of stitches on the bottom row...

On The Downslope

I am definitely over halfway done with the backstitching now.   I can't believe how slow it's been going, but working on it every day has at least meant progress.

Stitchy Gift

Andreas' mom made this travel organizer for me for Christmas.  I love the peacock pattern of course, and will start using it as soon as I start feeling on track and settled here.  Thank you!
