Lonely Beach

Photos of Fort Lauderdale beach at night.  In the distance, you can see the container ships waiting to go to port.

Presenting Themselves

Each of the groups in the parade was presented to the crowd.  They came from seven or eight different countries, most in eastern Europe.

Leaves Done And Petaling Along

Hurray!  I'm done with leaves!  One petal almost done, and then on to the last one...

More Green

So slowly I am getting this middle picture done.  More green this time, with a touch more pink and some beige.

Dinner at 953

First dinner with Mom after she arrived in Fort Lauderdale.  The restaurants at the Hilton were not very good, so we went next door to the Ritz? Anyway, the food was delicious and Mom was fascinated by the jellyfish tank.  The service was great, too.

Parade Gets Ragged

Most of the parade groups are actually "combat" groups competing for points in the all Europe year long competition.  The parade, though, as you can see from the photos, starts getting really ragged toward the middle.
