Off To Edinburgh

We went to Edinburgh with Cheryl on one of our trips.  This was a LOT of walking!  The castle is at the top of a hill, of course.  Anyway, we went inside Edinburgh Castle and wandered around a lot.  Before we went inside, Andreas took photos outside the gates.

Halfway Across

I'm halfway across!  I think it's looking pretty good.

My Year Long Project

This is the beginning of this year's year long project.  It's Joyful World from the Snowflower Diaries.

Better Part Of Town

The better parts of town are fairly relative.  They still have their problems.  There is not a single block you can walk in this town without seeing huge piles of trash and "temporary" housing and incomplete construction.  This area is Talatona, where most of the oil people live.

My Personal Whiskey

Each of us got to blend our own whiskey from several 15 and 18 year old single malts.  Special!  It's a day I will never forget.

All Outlined

I've got the full outline of the owl done.  It's time to fill in the belly and do some smyrna stitches and then bead.
