Pho In Manchester

After looking around the Christmas markets a bit, we realized we were hungry.  We had no clue what we wanted to eat, so we ducked into the old Corn Exchange and found a pho restaurant.  Both of us decided pho would be a good idea on a chilly evening, so that's what we had.  It was good!  The drink is a mojito made with Vietnamese liquors.  We both slurped up all our pho and went back out to downtown Manchester and walked more Christmas markets, all warmed up inside.

Impoverished Fridge, Good View

When we checked in to the AC Hotel in Manchester, they told us we'd been upgraded.  We thought "oh, nice!" They told us the fridge had been stocked.  This is a photo of the stocked fridge.  We were there for one night only, and we did have a nice view of Old Trafford and the Salford Quays.

Celtic Scarf

Andreas' parents gave me this scarf for Christmas.  It's beautiful and lightweight and I'll definitely use it when we get to somewhere a bit cooler.

About Halfway

This is such a quick project!  I'm already nearly halfway done.  I think it's looking pretty good.

Squirrel!

I found this cute little squirrel in Keswick in December.  Now I want to make it.

Fixed A Problem

It probably looks like I went a bit backwards this time.  I did.  I found a mistake due to lack of overlap in the chart pages approximately ten (completed) rows up.  It's fixed now, and I still have more to fix on the right, but at least it won't drive me crazy not lining up anymore!

Marine Ball Set Up

I took these photos just before it was time for people to come to the Marine Ball.  They're the only photos I can share at the moment because the official photos are being held hostage by a couple of people who want no photos of them in the official photos ... yet have been to many Marine Balls and know there's always a photographer.
